Independence Day and Investiture Ceremony

“Freedom is never Free, But it’s Worth the Cost.”

Seth Anandram Jaipuria School Alambagh Campus, observed the 77th Independence Day with dignity and honour. The ceremony started at 8 AM in the school premises.  The students came in proper school uniforms. The whole school campus was decorated with tricolor balloons and flags.

The special occasion started with the March Past where all the four houses fervently embodied their patronage to the School Flag. Donning the mantle of responsibility the investiture ceremony which is the most awaited moment was conducted on this day. The newly framed student council took an oath of elevating the school to a greater height in all spheres. The Secretary of the School Mr. Kishore Mehrotra along with his wife Ms. Raghini Mehrotra accompanied by our esteemed Principal Ms.Gunjan Danani hoisted the National flag which was followed by the National Anthem. Our toddlers were disguised as some of the freedom fighters who immensely contributed in the freedom struggle of our nation. They looked like miniatures of our real heroes. The entire event was a tribute to the motherland ‘INDIA.’.  A student of class IX  gave depth speech on the freedom fighters who played an important role in Indian independence. The soulful instrumental performance on the song “ Saare Jahan Se Accha Hindustan Hamara” further escalated the aura of the celebration. The Principal also addressed the students with her inspiring words. She stressed upon the value of sacrifice, hard work, honesty, and character formation as the chief aim of the students. 

Following the speech, there were dance programs and other cultural events performed by students. The mesmerising Martial Arts performance was a cherry on the cake The audience was enlightened with the various stages our National Flag went through before achieving its final form. At the end, sweets were distributed as a mark of celebration to the students.
