Hindi Diwas Celebration
On 14th September 2024, Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Alambagh Campus, celebrated Hindi Diwas,with great fervour, honouring the beauty and heritage of the Hindi language. The event was filled with various activities that highlighted the significance of Hindi in our daily lives and culture.
The celebrations began with a Special Hindi Assemble ,where students recited Hindi poems and presented speeches, setting the tone for the day. Following this, a skit was performed by middle school students, showcasing scenes from famous Hindi literary works. The skit effectively conveyed the importance of preserving and promoting our national language.
A writing competition was held, where students demonstrated their creativity and understanding of Hindi by composing essays and poems on topics related to the language’s importance in modern times. Their work reflected a deep connection to their cultural roots.
In her speech, Ms. Gunjan Danani, the Principal, emphasised, “Hindi is not just a language but the soul of our nation, binding us together with its rich cultural tapestry.” She encouraged students to take pride in Hindi while also respecting other languages.
The program concluded with the recitation of shlokas, offering a spiritual touch to the celebration, followed by a vote of thanks. The event successfully reinforced the value of Hindi as a cornerstone of our national identity.
