Community Helpers Day

“Community Helpers Day” is a wonderful way to broaden the child’s horizons and help them learn about the world beyond home -their community.

Keeping this in mind Pre-primary wing of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School conducted a Community Helpers activity on 01.05.23 There are many helpers in the community who help us in many ways. Their positive attitude should be given importance and shown gratitude.

Our children of pre-primary took this opportunity to understand the importance of community helpers by doing a role-play activity. Role play helps children to develop fundamental cognitive, social & emotional skills. They also learned how and where these helpers work and the tools they use.

Children put on an enthralling show by dressing up as doctors, milkman teachers, vegetable vendors, gardeners, nurses, and many other helpers. They also spoke about their importance.

Children enjoyed this activity throughout. This is another example that shows us that there is no barrier to learning. Our little ones participated actively even in virtual mode. Enjoy a sneak peek of this role-play activity.
