Independence Day and Investiture Ceremony
“A nation’s culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people.” – Mahatma Gandhi The campus of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Alambagh resonated with patriotism and pride as the school celebrated the 79th Independence Day in unison with the grand Investiture Ceremony on 15th August 2025. The auspicious occasion was graced by Major General Abhi Parmar as the Chief Guest. The Principal, Ms. Gunjan Danani, along with distinguished dignitaries Mr. Manish Mehrotra, Mr. Kishore Mehrotra, and Ms. Raghini Mehrotra, presided over the solemn function. The programme commenced with a smart and synchronised March Past by the four houses, filling the atmosphere with vigour and discipline. The Chief Guest unfurled the Tricolour, and the entire gathering sang the National Anthem in unison, a moment that stirred every heart with patriotic pride. The highlight of the day was the Investiture Ceremony, where the newly elected Student Council was formally vested with their responsibilities. The Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports and Cultural Leaders, House Captains, Vice-Captains, and Club Representatives were adorned with badges and sashes. They took the solemn Oath of Office, pledging to uphold the school’s values of integrity, leadership, and service. In his inspiring address, Major General Abhi Parmar urged the young students to emulate the ideals of discipline, courage, and selfless service to the nation. The Principal, Ms. Gunjan Danani, congratulated the council members and reminded them to lead by example while carrying forward the glorious legacy of the school. The combined celebration of Independence Day and Investiture Ceremony was a momentous occasion that not only rekindled the flame of freedom but also heralded the dawn of new leadership within the school.
