Metro Excursion 2024-25
In the city, the only friend you have is your reflection in the train window.
Students from the Pre-Primary section and Classes VI, VII, and VIII of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Alambagh Campus, embarked on an exciting and educational metro ride. The activity was organised to provide the students with an opportunity to experience modern public transportation and understand its importance in urban life.
The day began with a lot of enthusiasm as the students arrived at the school, eager for their adventure. Accompanied by their teachers, the group proceeded to the nearest metro station. The younger children from the Pre-Primary section were thrilled as they stepped into the vibrant and well-maintained metro premises. Their curiosity was evident as they observed the ticketing process, security measures, and the sleek metro trains.
For the middle school students, the ride was both fun and educational. They learned about the metro system’s eco-friendly advantages, its role in reducing traffic congestion, and the importance of punctuality and discipline in using public transport.
As the train glided through the city, students admired the aerial and underground views of the cityscape. Teachers also engaged them in discussions about how the metro contributes to sustainable urban development.
The Pre-Primary students enjoyed the ride as a novel experience, waving excitedly at passengers and marvelling at the swift movement of the train. Their excitement was contagious, filling the environment with joy and laughter.
The trip concluded with a return to the school, where students shared their observations and experiences. The activity was a delightful blend of learning and fun, leaving lasting memories for everyone involved.
This metro ride not only educated the students on the practicalities of public transport but also reinforced values such as teamwork, discipline, and environmental consciousness.
