Raksha Bandhan, a significant Indian festival celebrating the bond between brothers and sisters, was joyously celebrated in our Pre-Primary section of Seth Anandram Jaipuria school, Alambagh Campus Lucknow on 25.08.23. This event was a vibrant and memorable experience for our little ones. The school campus was adorned with colorful decorations  to create a festive atmosphere.The Raksha Bandhan celebration began with a special assembly, where the importance of the festival was explained in simple terms to our young learners. Later on  children sang the melodious  song ” Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka .” and also danced on “Happy Rakshabandhan song ”

The girls, dressed in traditional attire, tied colorful Rakhis on the wrists of their male classmates, symbolizing the bond of protection and love. This heartwarming gesture was met with innocent smiles and giggles.After the Rakhi ceremony, students exchanged sweets and chocolates with their friends. This added an element of sharing and spreading happiness, reinforcing the values of togetherness and generosity.

The Rakshabandhan celebration in the kindergarten was a delightful and educational experience for the young children.
