Yellow Day

Yellow Colour is a reminder that every day is a new opportunity to shine. “Keeping this in mind the Pre-Primary wing of Seth Anandram Jaipuria school, Alambagh Campus , Lucknow celebrated a vibrant and cheerful “Yellow Day” on 15.09.23 to engage young minds in a fun-filled learning experience. The objective of this celebration was to introduce the colour yellow to the children and encourage them to explore its various shades and associations . To create an immersive experience, all children and teachers were dressed in various shades of yellow, radiating positivity and enthusiasm. Activities like making yellow birds, giraffes, and pineapple using craft materials were being done by preprimary students.

During Yellow Day, we incorporated a special snack time that included yellow fruits such as bananas and pineapple, along with yellow-themed snacks. This activity served to reinforce the concept of the colour yellow in a hands-on and practical manner. Later on, our respected Principal, Ms. Gunjan Danani, joined hands with our little ones to form a train with them, encouraging cooperation and teamwork. Forming at rain is a fun and inclusive activity that strengthens the sense of community among the children, promoting a positive and supportive learning environment.

Incorporating activities like creating a train with children joining hands is an effective way to promote holistic development in pre-primary students, encompassing physical, social, emotional, and cognitive aspects of their growth. The Yellow Day celebration in the Pre-Primary was a resounding success. It not only achieved its educational goals but also left a lasting impression of joy and enthusiasm in the hearts of the children. Such thematic celebrations play a vital role in making learning enjoyable and memorable for our little learners. The day ended with a lively dance session where children danced to cheerful, up beat songs wearing yellow accessories and props.
