Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Alambagh Campus, came together with immense enthusiasm and purpose to participate in “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 3.0.” Under the inspiring leadership of Principal, Ms. Gunjan Danani, the initiative transcended the conventional idea of a plantation drive and emerged as a powerful movement towards environmental consciousness and sustainable living.

Spread across three days, the campaign witnessed the planting of an impressive 110 saplings across the school campus. The initiative was consciously undertaken not merely for name’s sake, but to cultivate a genuine sense of responsibility towards nature. With participation made mandatory for all students, every learner became a stakeholder in this green mission, experiencing first-hand the significance of planting, nurturing and protecting life.

A distinctive highlight of the campaign was the creation of a dedicated Medicinal Patch, bringing together plants of medicinal, nutritional and fruit-bearing value. Designed as a living learning space, it enabled students to explore the invaluable relationship between plants, health and human well-being, transforming environmental education into an engaging experiential journey.

The campaign sensitised students to the indispensable role of plants in maintaining ecological balance, biodiversity and a healthy environment, while reinforcing the message that planting a sapling is only the beginning—the true responsibility lies in nurturing it into a thriving tree.

With 110 saplings planted, a medicinal patch created and every student actively engaged, Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 3.0 became more than an environmental campaign—it became a collective pledge to nurture nature and safeguard the future.

Because when we plant a tree, we do not merely grow a plant—we grow hope, responsibility and a better tomorrow.
